Our responsibility

To day every one receive a lot of information by seeing , watching , listening and reading so we see ,watch , listen and read lot of information through mass media against of Islam . For example we know that many news papers in western country published a lot of articles and images against Islam especially against of our holy prophet Mohammad (peace up on him) it began in Italy and extended in majority of western country. Therefore in this moment appear this question that in this climate what is our responsibility as educated people in Islamic society and Islamic student? Answering to this question is the topic of this article.

 We as a Islamic student have the fallowing responsibility:

1.    Studding: according to narration of our holy prophet:

طلب العلم فریضة علی کل مسلم ومسلمه.

Searching the knowledge obligated (necessary) for every Muslim (men and women).the first task for every Islamic student is studding. Every one who want to be as a Islamic student or preacher he or she must receives a lot of basic knowledge and information about Islam and he or she has to understand the essence of Islam until he or she become prepare for the next steps.  

2.    Transmitting the knowledge: our holy prophet said:

 زکاة العلم نشره

The poor rate of knowledge (or science) is transmitting of it. Our holy Qur,an has a verse that encourage the searching of knowledge:

 وما كان المؤمنون لينفروا كافة فلولا نفر من كل فرقة منهم طائفة ليتفقهوا في الدين ولينذروا قومهم إذا رجعوا إليهم لعلهم يحذرون ( توبة 122)

 And it does not beseem the believers that they should go forth all together; why should not then company from every party from among them go fort that they may apply themselves to obtain understanding in religion, and that they may warn their people when they come back to them that they may be cautious.

According to this narration and verse we must transmit our knowledge. Transmitting the knowledge may do from different ways:

a.    teaching : in the world this a costume that every one when studded and became an expert in his field he has to trains other people as a human capital  for the next generations. Islamic student as an expert in his field and responsible must present new group of educated Islamic students for the next generation. This responsibility extremely was important for Islamic scientists and thinkers so we saw and heard  that  Islamic scientists built a lot of large and cost full schools (as university) and library in many cities in many countries and attracted a lot of student from different part of the world for education.

b.    Propagation (publicizing or preaching): according to last verse and narration every Islamic student has an especial task. It is that they must propaganda for Islam. I mean that they must transmit them knowledge for expert in other field and for non expert people in society. They can do it in many different ways as fallow:

§        Making lecture: this is a costume in Hawzah that in many different situations like condolence, moharam and safar month and etc clergy men make lecture and declare different part of Islam’s roles in attract method for many of people.

§        Writing: the other task of clergy man is writing. It may  do by using a lot of instruments and methods:           

o       Writing educational books

o       Writing general books

o       Writing article

Ø     Writing specialized article for journals and data bases in internet  

Ø     Writing general article for general magazine and un specialist users in internet.

The writer thinks that for a Islamic student it necessary to write specialized article to declare Islam roles and explain different aspect and dimensions of it  for whom don’t know Islam exactly and for researchers and expert people. If they can’t do this task they must write general article. The most important thing for writing is writing language. If Islamic student write in his national language his reader will limits so many people in the world can’t use it.

Consequent: if we want to change the perspective of people in the world and aware them about Islam we must write specialized and general article in English because it is a common communication instrument for every one in the world. Our web site make a separate page for English article to do its responsibility of transmitting the massages of Islam for every one in every part of the world by presentation of specialized and general article.
